 My first post - a bit about me:

I have been working in retail for the past twelve-ish years, for all of my adult life since I graduated high school in 2009. Twelve years doesn't seem like a lot of time, but for a nerdy, fandom-loving creative writer stuck in the retail world - it's more than a lifetime.

Last year at 31 (2022), I made the decision to go back to school (online classes) to pursue a career in creative fiction writing and screenwriting with Southern New Hampshire University. This year (2023), I decided it was time to break away from retail altogether to have more time to focus on school and other creative outlets. I have an idea for an original novel that I have been brainstorming for the last couple of years, but it hasn't gotten much past the researching phase.

My new journey is just beginning, but I can't wait to see where it takes me next.
